Time flies when you’re having fun. Who can believe that Gemmill Homes is celebrating 15 wonderful years of helping our customers build their dream home.

To mark this fantastic milestone, we have compiled a selection of our award-winning homes and drawn on these for inspiration to deliver 15 of the very best.

During our 15-year history we have pushed the design envelope to include many lifestyle features into our homes as requested by our customers – and our birthday series is no exception. 2005 –Jubilee

(Inspired by the Shoalwater HIA Winner)

Frontage: 18m Total Area: 278.41m2

The Jubilee is based on our signature 2005 award winning home Shoalwater. Designed at the time to depict luxurious and large family living, it pushed the boundaries and inspired the concept of the Australian dream.

Today that dream lives on in the Jubilee with its four bedrooms and three bathrooms. The master suite features twin walk-in robes, and the three minor bedrooms each have sliding robes as well as convenient access to the bathroom. There is a shopper’s entry directly from the garage to the scullery with walk-in pantry to unload the groceries, as well as a large laundry to the rear with linen storage nearby.

The home theatre is a welcome inclusion and the kitchen is at the heart of the home and features an island bench. Together with a large alfresco area and loads of space for a back yard you’ll be living the great Australian dream in the Jubilee!

2006 – Entertainer

(Inspired by the Sandgate HIA Winner)

Frontage: 17m Total Area: 300.62m2

The Entertainer is a design any discerning home owner will be proud to call home, and really pushes the design boundary to accommodate a growing family.

Pretty as a picture the feature front elevation uses a combination of render and cladding, multiple roof lines and a verandah to create a welcoming entrance to this home. Inside there are four bedrooms and three bathrooms that will provide flexibility in accommodating family members, children and unexpected visitors alike. The master suite sits privately to the front of the home with dual walk-in robes and large en suite. Not only is one of the minor bedrooms fitted with its own personal ensuite, there is a second that has convenient access to the shared bathroom and can be shut off for privacy.

Complete with study and everyone’s favourite alfresco area, the home theatre is near the living area and makes this a great additional living space that will be used by all ages.

2007 – Fiesta

(Inspired by the Elba HIA Winner)

The Fiesta is a home that everyone will grow to love. The Fiesta finds a unique balance in creating ample space to accommodate each member of the family, whilst achieving perfect integration through fun spaces like a games room, large alfresco area and home theatre.

To the front of the home is a corridor which separates to provide access to the study and garage, as well as a master suite that can be closed off, leading to its own private verandah area.

2008 – Gala

(Inspired by the Chateau HIA Winner)

The Gala’s portico and blade wall set the tone forthis sleek design. The hotel-style master suite features a hidden walk-in robe behind the bedhead, as well as an en suite with its very own bath –because everyone deserves a little luxury.

The kitchen is central in this design and serves the home well. There is ample storage that is well planned throughout this design, as well as a computer nook and powder room.

The Gala exudes festivity, and there is plenty of room to chill with a large home theatre zone as well as an activity room where the winner can take out bragging rights before retreating to the alfresco area for the perfect sundowner.

2009 – Ovation

(Inspired by the MBA Winner)

Frontage: 17m Total Area: 273.52m2

There is a modern appeal to the Ovation, with adesigner elevation incorporating a portico and blade wall setting the tone for this four-bedroom, two-bathroom home. The master suite has a grand appeal with its hidden walk-in robe and en suite, and also features twin basins.

Kitchen enthusiasts will appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, which is central in this design and part ofthe large living zone. The massive home the atre features to the rear of the home, making it the perfect shared space as it is conveniently part of the action whilst also being closed off from the rest of the home.

2010 – Merriment

(Inspired by the MBA Winner)

The Merriment is a fun filled design and has the whole family in mind. Inspired by the Wood bridgethe design popularised the concept of minor bedrooms to the front of the home which allowed the private master suite to feature at the rear, with direct access to the alfresco area. The design also features a room perfect as a nursery or study nearby.

The kitchen is at the heart of the home and features a large island bench, plenty of bench space as well as storage from the shopper’s entry. An activity zone, loads of storage, a powder room and home theatre complete this design.

And did you notice the massive alfresco area that gives this home its wow factor? Entertaining will be a breeze and comfortable all year round in the Merriment.

2011 – Spectacular

(Inspired by the The Gallery HIA Winner)

Frontage: 15m Total Area: 268.39m2

Spectacular as the name would suggest is a grand scale four-bedroom, two-bathroom home. Inspired by the award-winning The Gallery in 2011, the home back then featured strong architectural hallways that were dressed in pictures, painting and artworks.

Not much has changed in the revised version. The hallways are still central to the design and the master suite is a show stopper with a glamorous en suite featuring twin basins separated by a shower and luxurious bath tub. There is a central home theatre, a study and to the rear of the home design is a stunning kitchen and living area zone that is equipped to host many spectacular celebrations and capable of extending the party under the stars in the outdoor alfresco area.

A large portico has been added to the front of the home design, perfect for enjoying a morning cuppa or to watch the children play in the front garden.

2012 – Celebration

(Inspired by our best selling design The Tahoe)

The Celebration will resonate with many Australian families with its four-bedroom, two-bathroom design and verandah out the front.

Inspired by the top selling Tahoe which was popularised by the dual alfresco zone, many found this to be the perfect backdrop to insert a lap or plunge pool.

There is a central kitchen with island bench separating the dining and family rooms which has convenient access to one of the alfresco areas. The master suite has hidden walk-in robes behind the bedhead, the family bathroom has both bath and shower, and with an additional powder room, loads of storage and a home theatre, the Celebration gives you a lot to celebrate!

2013 – Bonanza

(Inspired by our best selling design The Galliano)

A surprise package awaits behind the Bonanza’s modern exterior, inspired by the top selling Galliano which was popularised by an abundancy of practicality and charm.

The hotel style master suite with walk-in robe hidden behind the bedhead are positioned to the back of the home with views to the alfresco area, and large en suite which features a bathtub perfect to relax and unwind in at the end of the day. Family and visitors alike will feel at home in the guest suite, the master chef will be spoilt with a spacious kitchen and incredible scullery zone. Plus, the design is capped off with a home theatre as well as study, activity room and alfresco area.

2014 – Revelry

(Inspired by our best selling design The Bel Air)

Behind the double doors of the Revelry is a home combining character, functionality and festivity. Featuring four bedrooms and three bathrooms, this home is based on the people’s home The Bel Air which included many sought after features as voted by our favourite customers.

A home theatre to enjoy a blockbuster movie, a guest suite to make family and guests feel completely at home, a large and functional kitchen for the master chef, a hotel style master suite with twin walk-in robes, a study for the business person or student in the home and a large alfresco area.

2015 – Shindig

(Inspired by the Mirage HIA Winner)
